It is also the ideal place for a picnic on the weekend end, in the middle of its 19 hectares of vegetation. Built in 1861by the rich man of British case David Sassoon, the zoo has retained many historical monuments dating from the 19th century and represents a nice framework for a stroll in the greenery.
